The Mount Whitney Super Century is possibly the toughest century in world. Many believe that Horseshoe Meadows Road, Onion Valley Road, and Whitney Portals Road are on the top ten toughest climb list for North America. We put the three climbs into one ride. The ride is bigger than the mountain. The Mount Whitney Super Century tops out at 18,000’ and 125 miles. The climbs are long and steep as are the descents.

The course starts in Lone Pine. The climbing starts 200 yards from the start. Leaving Lone Pine you will climb Tuttle Creek Canyon to the Alabama Hills and then the real climbing starts… Horseshoe Meadows Road. Once you summit Horseshoe Meadows you will return to Lone Pine.

From Lone Pine you will ride 15 miles to Independence and the climb to Onion Valley. Once you summit Onion Valley you will return to Lone Pine and the final climb of the day. Mount Whitney Portals.

The Mount Whitney Super Century is timed. All results will be posted at www.inyoultra.com
